The Research Program aims to embed analysis of the physical dimensions of sustainability within organizational decision-making processes and hasten the adoption of supportive policy.
The Research Program is constructing and collating a rigorous analytic base of knowledge on initiatives, mechanisms and system designs to overcome barriers to institutionalizing sustainability in the routine management of organizations. The Research Program researches and develops methods of organizational innovation, measurement and valuation of physical impact, policies, financing mechanisms and educational initiatives that stimulate sustainability and responsible investment, in order to develop and promote more sustainable public policies, organizational design and investment behavior. The Research Program does so by providing data, tools and knowledge necessary for decision-making in this expansive and fast-growing field.
