The Earth Institute is pleased to present Charles Chen, a co-founder of Tencent, China’s largest and most widely used internet service portal. In its ten-year history, Tencent has been able to maintain steady and fast-paced growth by consistently putting its users first, guided by its mission to enhance quality of life through internet services.

In this talk, Chen discusses the development of the Internet in China and the nation’s “Internet Plus” strategy, which seeks to drive economic growth by integrating internet technologies with manufacturing and business.
